On June 22, 2023 – THE BALUARTE INSTITUTE, held an exclusive BENEFIT DINNER event at “Esplanada grill steakhouse” in Luanda. The BALUARTE EXPERIENCE, brought together entrepreneurs and artists of Luanda and Brazil, to celebrate the children and families of the neighborhood Capollo II – where Baluarte runs the only FREE school of Luanda – and to raise funds for the construction of the EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX BALUARTE, a school that will educate 3000 students on the same neigborthood.
The event was promoted by the renowned BALUARTE INSTITUTE – a non-profit organization with the mission of “being a fortress of help and refuge, creating opportunities through education and faith to transform the lives of those in need around the world.”
The Baluarte Institute was the winner of the 2023 Tony Robbins “Business Mastery” competition, and has been featured at major events around the world.

The institution’s branch in Luanda have already welcomed several important Brazilian personalities, such as Xuxa and Sasha Meneghel, Willian Bigode, Raphael Veiga, Aline Barros, Aiane Freitas, Bruna Marquezine, Michelle Fernandes, Priscilla Alcântara, Paulo Vieira and, Camila Vieira, amongst others.
The night’s attractions were be Tirullipa, Igor Venza and Zuleica Wilson, Benvindo Magalhães, Rafael Kalimann, André Vitor, Camila Vieira, Paulo Vieira, Júlia Vieira, Michelle Fernandes, Aiane Freitas, renowed Brazilian players Willian Bigode and Raphael Veiga (BRAZILIAN NATIONAL TEAM), Micaela Reis, and the singer Marcos Freire, who is also one of the Baluarte founders, alongside surprise celebrity guests.
It was an exciting night of connections, live shows, and great motivational experiences.
BALUARTE
With a headquarters int the US, Baluarte serves more than 700 children and has branches in 3 countries: Angola, Congo and Brazil.
In Luanda, Angola the Baluarte school employs 40 peoples and has been educating and feeding over 450 childrens daily, from which 10 kids live in the Baluarte shelter. our work has, been recognized and cherished by various local entepreneurs lncluding: Geraldo Kulaif. Suzana Ferreira, Miguel Borges, Ana Franco, Adriano Dzazi0, Marko D’Santo, Vera Lúcia Neia, Fernanda Lobo, Leidiane Maciel and Flávia Regis.
In Northeast Brazil, over 200 childrens receive social assistance and after school classes. Baluarte Nordeste also supports 100 families monthly with food baskets and free professional development courses.
Baluarte Congo just opened in 2023 and has been rescuing children victims of war. at the Baluarte orphanage, locate in Gomam we have, 65 kids. These children are now safe and being reintegrate to society. Baluarte Congo is in the progress of building a school, which will serve over 300 refuged children from the “Camp de Réfugiés á Bulengo”.

EVENT GOAL
To bring awareness to our work in Luanda and to gather sponsors to help us build the EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX OF BALUARTE ANCOLA.
Baluarte recently acquired 1 acre in the Capollo II neighborhood, close to where our school is currently located. Once the new school is built, we will be able to enroll, educate and feed 3000 children and over 500 parents. Our goal is to see this school become self sustainable in 3 years.
This project will cost $l.6M and will not only transform the lives of these children, but it will also create life-changing opportunities for an entire community, while inspiring the citizens of Luanda to show the world what is possible when we come together.
