Description of the work: In “Coastal Harmony”, Ieda Silva transports us to the beautiful beaches of South Africa. Inspired by her artistic journey, which began when she taught handicrafts, Ieda translates the beauty of the colorful little houses that adorn Africa’s coastal landscapes. Each brushstroke reflects not only her refined technique, but also her growing passion for art and the vibrant colors that make up this tranquil and captivating scene. Ieda Silva developed her passion for painting gradually when she was invited to teach craft classes at a church she belonged to. Realizing the importance of honing her skills in order to offer the best to her students, she sought out courses and dedicated herself to learning at the faculty of pedagogy, where she had a curriculum focused on the arts. It was in this academic context that Ieda nurtured and cultivated her love of color, a passion that is now reflected in her expressive works of art.
